	Je waardeert nauwkeurig gesneden materiaal. We snijden staal met bandzagen, waardoor we rechte randen garanderen. We gebruiken geen guillotine-scharen, omdat deze platen kunnen vervormen en de randen kunnen afronden.
	Kleine krassen of restanten zijn geen probleem voor jou. Soms gaat een enkele staalplaat meerdere keren door de zaag, wat lichte oppervlakkige krassen kan veroorzaken. Af en toe kunnen er delicate plekjes van oppervlakkige corrosie (dunne residuen) op het staal verschijnen door koelmiddelresten van het snijproces. Zowel krassen als residuen kunnen gemakkelijk worden verwijderd tijdens het slijpen. Als u staal met een perfect schone oppervlakte nodig heeft, zal ons product niet aan uw verwachtingen voldoen..
	Je kunt kleine oppervlakteafwijkingen zelf rechtzetten. Wij streven ernaar om perfect vlakke staalplaten te leveren, maar we kunnen 100% vlakheid niet garanderen. Elke lichte oppervlakte kromming is geen materiaalfout, maar eerder het resultaat van de toleranties van de fabriek (vlakheidstoleranties voor geprofileerde producten). Een ervaren messenmaker kan zo'n kromming in een mum van tijd aanpakken.
	U wilt staal kopen van een vertrouwde leverancier. We betrekken ons staal van de grootste producenten in Europa en daarbuiten. Elke levering is nauwkeurig gemarkeerd met een industriële handjetprinter om fouten tijdens het snijden en opslaan te voorkomen.

K110 – Hoge Hardheid en Slijtvastheid in het Maken van Messen

Böhler K110 staal is een gereedschapsstaal dat bekend staat om zijn uitzonderlijke slijtvastheid en duurzaamheid. Het wordt veel gebruikt in het messenmaken en is het Europese equivalent van het Amerikaanse D2 staal, en wordt zeer gewaardeerd door messenmakers over de hele wereld. Warmtebehandeling van K110 staal

Moeilijkheidsgraad van warmtebehandelingZichtbaar bovenaan de pagina vertegenwoordigt de meest voorkomende beoordeling onder Poolse messenmakers in onze enquête, voorbereid in samenwerking met een ervaren specialist in warmtebehandeling. Beschouw het als een op de gemeenschap gebaseerde mening in plaats van een strikte norm.

"EENVOUDIGE VERSTEVIGING" betekent dat de staal meer vergevingsgezind is - het levert een voorspelbaar, bruikbaar resultaat, zelfs bij kleine afwijkingen in de hardingsparameters.

"MOEILIJKE HARDENING" vereist strikte naleving van de aanbevolen parameters, aangezien zelfs kleine fouten snel het eindresultaat kunnen verslechteren.

WETTELIJKE KENNISGEVING BETREFFENDE HITTENBEHANDELING

Warmtebehandeling is een reeks processen afhankelijk van vele variabelen, waaronder de dikte van het mes, het type oven en procesatmosfeer, inwerktijd en temperatuur, de methode en temperatuur van afkoelen, evenals de temperingsparameters.

Verharding van K110 staal

Austenitiseren

Het austenitiseringsproces voor K110 staal omvat verwarmen tot 1030-1070°C (1886-1958°F) en deze gedurende 15-30 minuten op de ingestelde temperatuur houden, te rekenen vanaf het moment dat het staal een uniforme temperatuur bereikt. De tijden die door de fabrikant zijn opgegeven, verwijzen naar industriële componenten; de tijden voor dunne onderdelen zijn niet gespecificeerd.

Praktische richtlijnen voor austenitiseren:

Hoe dikker het mes, hoe langer het in de oven moet blijven.
Het staal te lang in de oven houden kan leiden tot korrelgroei; te korte tijd leidt tot onvolledige austenitisering (onvolledige microstructurele transformatie). Simpel gezegd: bij de juiste temperatuur doet het meestal minder kwaad om het staal iets langer in de oven te laten dan het er te vroeg uit te halen. De grootste fout is het gebruik van een onjuiste austenitiseringstemperatuur.

Afkoeling

Afkoelmedia: olie, lucht, zoutbad bij 220-250°C of 500-550°C (428-482°F of 932-1022°F).

Sub-zero behandeling (Optioneel)

In de beschikbare bronnen zijn er geen duidelijke contra-indicaties voor het gebruik van sub-zero (cryogene) behandeling voor K110 staal. In de praktijk past een deel van de messenmakerijgemeenschap dit toe om mogelijk een verhoging van de hardheid van ongeveer +1-2 HRC en verbeterde dimensionale stabiliteit te bereiken. Het moet echter worden benadrukt dat de fabrikant deze stap niet beschrijft of aanbeveelt in de officiële specificatie, daarom zou de beslissing om cryogene behandeling toe te passen uitsluitend moeten voortkomen uit de eigen ervaring en geïnformeerde keuze van de gebruiker.

Tempering van K110 Staal

Tempering is het gecontroleerd opnieuw verwarmen van een geharde mes tot een gekozen temperatuur en het gedurende een bepaalde tijd vasthouden om brosheid en spanningen van het harden te verminderen en de impactsterkte van het mes te verhogen.

Böhler beveelt aan om het staal te temperen op 515-560°C (959-1040°F) na eerdere afkoeling vanaf een austenitizeringstemperatuur van 1070 °C (1958 °F).

Temper gedurende 1 uur per 20 mm materiaaldikte, maar minimaal 2 uur. In de industriële praktijk wordt aanbevolen om minimaal twee volledige temperingscycli uit te voeren.

Aanvullende stressverlichting na het temperen

Böhler vermeldt in het technische gegevensblad voor K110-staal dat aanvullende spanningsontlasting na het temperen (bijvoorbeeld na het afwerken in de geharde toestand) kan worden uitgevoerd. Dit moet plaatsvinden bij een temperatuur van 30-50°C (86-122°F) onder de hoogste eerder toegepaste temperatuurniveau om het verlies van hardheid te minimaliseren.

Vergelijking van K110-staal met andere staalsoorten in het messenmaken

K110 wordt vaak vergeleken met andere gereedschaps- en messtalen, zoals N690 en Elmax. Hier is hoe het zich verhoudt tot deze populaire materialen.

K110 vs. N690

N690 biedt betere corrosiebestendigheid dan K110, wat cruciaal is voor messen die in vochtige omgevingen worden gebruikt. K110 overtreft echter N690 in slijtvastheid, waardoor het ideaal is voor gereedschappen die aan zware belasting worden blootgesteld.

K110 vs. Elmax

Jachtmessen

K110 is ideaal voor jachtmessen die langdurige scherpte en duurzaamheid vereisen. De slijtvastheid maakt het geschikt voor zwaar gebruik tijdens jachttrips. Het is echter belangrijk om goed onderhoud van het mes niet te vergeten, aangezien K110 staal geen roestvrij staal is.

Buiten- en overlevingsmessen

Dankzij zijn hoge hardheid en slijtvastheid blinkt K110 uit in buiten- en overlevingsmessen die aan zware omstandigheden worden blootgesteld. Deze messen kunnen taken aan zoals het snijden van hout of het voorbereiden van onderkomens.

Hoe onderhoud je messen van K110-staal?

Hoewel K110 betere corrosieweerstand biedt dan veel andere gereedschapsstalen, is een goed onderhoud essentieel:

Schoonmaken – Maak het mes na elk gebruik grondig schoon en droog om het risico op corrosie te minimaliseren.
Oliën Het regelmatig aanbrengen van beschermende olie helpt de staat van het lemmet te behouden.
Scherpen Gebruik diamant- of keramische stenen om K110 te slijpen, zodat je een perfecte snede krijgt.
