	Cijenite precizno rezani materijal. Orežemo čelik pomoću trakastih pila, osiguravajući ravne rubove. Ne koristimo giljotinske škare, koje mogu izobličiti limove i zaobljiti njihove rubove.
	Mali ogrebotine ili ostatak nisu problem za vas. Ponekad, jedan čelični lim prolazi kroz pilu više puta, što može uzrokovati male ogrebotine na površini. Povremeno, suptilni tragovi površinske korozije (tanka ostatak) mogu se pojaviti na čeliku zbog ostataka rashladne tekućine iz procesa rezanja. I ogrebotine i ostatak lako se mogu ukloniti tijekom brušenja. Ako zahtijevate čelik s savršeno čistom površinom, naš proizvod neće ispuniti vaša očekivanja..
	Možete sami ispraviti manje površinske nepravilnosti. Težimo isporuci savršeno ravnih čeličnih komada, ali ne možemo jamčiti 100% ravnost. Svaka blaga zakrivljenost površine nije materijalna mana, već rezultat tolerancija u proizvodnji (tolerancije ravnosti za valjane proizvode). Iskusni majstor noževa može se lako nositi s takvom zakrivljenosti.
	Želite kupiti čelik od pouzdanog dobavljača. Čelik nabavljamo od najvećih proizvođača u Europi i šire. Svaka isporuka precizno je označena industrijskim ručnim jet pisačem kako bi se spriječile pogreške tijekom rezanja i skladištenja.

N690 Čelik, koji proizvodi renomirana austrijska tvrtka Böhler, materijal je visoko cijenjen u industriji izrade noževa zbog svojih svestranih svojstava. Njegova visoka kvaliteta, izvrsni tehnički parametri i otpornost na koroziju čine ga popularnim izborom među profesionalnim majstorima i hobistima.

Uspjeh N690 čelika leži u njegovom precizno projektiranom kemijskom sastavu, koji osigurava ravnotežu između čvrstoće, tvrdoće i otpornosti na koroziju:

Otpornost na koroziju

Zahvaljujući visokom sadržaju kroma, ovaj čelik izuzetno dobro djeluje u vlažnim okruženjima, što ga čini idealnim izborom za kuhinjske, lovačke ili vanjske noževe.

Tvrdoća i zadržavanje oštrice

Nakon pravilne toplinske obrade, N690 postiže tvrdoću u rasponu od 58–60 HRC. To mu omogućuje da zadrži oštrinu oštrice tijekom dužeg razdoblja, čak i pri intenzivnoj upotrebi.

Jednostavnost oštrenja

U usporedbi s nekim čelikom visoke tvrdoće poput S30V ili S35VN, N690 je relativno lak za oštrenje, što cijene i profesionalci i početnici.

"LAKO OJAČAVANJE" znači da je čelik više oprostiv – daje predvidljiv, upotrebljiv rezultat čak i uz manje odstupanja u parametrima kaljenja.

"TEŠKO OJAČAVANJE" zahtijeva strogo pridržavanje preporučenih parametara, jer čak i male pogreške mogu brzo pogoršati konačni rezultat.

PRAVNI OBAVIJEST O TERMALNOJ OBRADU

Toplinska obrada je skup procesa ovisno o mnogim varijablama, uključujući debljinu noža, tip peći i atmosferu procesa, vrijeme i temperaturu namakanja, metodu i temperaturu hlađenja, kao i parametre kaljenja.

Ojačavanje čelika N690

Austenitizacija

Austenitizacija N690 čelika uključuje zagrijavanje na 1030–1080°C (1885-1975°F) i održavanje na postavljenoj temperaturi 15-30 minuta, računajući od trenutka kada čelik dostigne uniformnu temperaturu. Vrijeme koje daje proizvođač odnosi se na industrijske komponente; vremena za tanke dijelove nisu navedena.

Praktične smjernice za austenitizaciju:

Što je oštrica deblja, to bi trebala duže ostati u peći.
Držanje čelika u peći predugo može dovesti do rasta zrna; prekratko vrijeme dovodi do nepotpunog austenitiziranja (nepotpuna mikrostrukturna transformacija). Pojednostavljeno: na ispravnoj temperaturi, ostavljanje čelika u peći malo duže obično uzrokuje manje štete nego vaditi ga prerano. Najveća greška je korištenje nepravilne temperature austenitiziranja.

Hlađenje

N690 čelik se brzo hladi nakon austenitizacije. Sredstva za gašenje: ulje. Materijal treba ohladiti na otprilike 30°C.

U praktičnim radionicama za toplinsku obradu koriste se i kaljenje u ulju i kaljenje između aluminijskih ploča s prisilnim hlađenjem zrakom – posebno za tanke, ravne oštrice, gdje je važno minimizirati iskrivljenje.

Tretman ispod nule (Opcionalno)

U dostupnim izvorima nema jasnih kontraindikacija za korištenje sub-zero (kriogene) obrade za N690 čelik. U praksi, dio zajednice koja se bavi izradom noževa primjenjuje je kako bi potencijalno postigao povećanje tvrdoće od oko +1-2 HRC i poboljšanu dimenzionalnu stabilnost. Međutim, treba naglasiti da proizvođač ni na koji način ne opisuje niti preporučuje ovaj korak u službenoj specifikaciji, stoga odluka o korištenju kriogene obrade treba proizaći isključivo iz vlastitog iskustva korisnika i informiranog izbora.

Otvrdnjavanje N690 čelika

Temperiranje je kontrolirano ponovno zagrijavanje otvrdnute oštrice na odabranu temperaturu i održavanje te temperature tijekom određenog vremena kako bi se smanjila krhkost i stresovi nastali otvrdnjavanjem te povećala otpornost noža na udarce.

Prema proizvođaču, preporučene temperature kaljenja su 100-200°C (210-390°F). Međutim, preporučujemo korištenje raspona kaljenja od 175-200°C (350-390°F).

Temperirati jednom 1 sat za 20 mm debljine materijala, ali najmanje 2 sata. U industrijskoj praksi preporučuju se dva puna ciklusa kaljenja (2x2h).

Bez obzira na temperaturu koja se koristi, proizvođač preporučuje sporo zagrijavanje i hlađenje materijala na približno 30°C (86°F) nakon svakog koraka kaljenja.

Primjena N690 čelika u izradi noževa
